9. Speaking truth to power vs coddling the powerful and mocking the

powerless - SNL is obscene. Since they mocked Gore in 2000, I refuse to tune in.

11. Obviously, Al Gore must've forgiven their "mocking", since he hosted SNL

in 2002. He was in almost every sketch, and he was GREAT! (BTW, Al's material in this SNL ep were specially written by another Al, Al Franken.)

I liked the part where Antonio Banderas, Horatio Sanz, and Fred Armisen were scheming about how to take away everyone's jobs, steal their women, and "cut them with knives". Nice way to get at the stereotyping (especially since there are a lot of Americans, like Fred, who "don't look Hispanic" but actually are ...).
