Compare Prince Harry with Jenna and not Jenna, or with Bush or Cheney.

Some refer to him as the Party Prince, but here's a young man who has earned the right to let his hair down and party. Can anyone imagine either Bush twin committing to and completing a grueling year long military bootcamp as it were? No " I had more important things to do" Cheney crap from him.

"He's a 21-year-old, he's just finished 12 months at Sandhurst which is pretty gruelling for anybody and he's doing what thousands of youngsters do when they graduate, whether it's from Sandhurst or whether it's from university," he added. Both newspapers say the prince declined the offer of a lap dance in the club, in Colnbrook, Berkshire.

Novelist and friend of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Jilly Cooper, told Five Live anyone shocked by the prince's actions was "really very prudish". "I mean he had a lovely time. He obviously got on with his mates. He passed out (referring to completing the Sandhurst program) in very gruelling circumstances - he may well have to go to Iraq.

Prince Harry leaves Sandhurst next week, and will be watched by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and his brother Prince William as he marches in the traditional passing out parade and commissions as an officer. He will join the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals regiment. The Household Cavalry recently had squadrons on operational duty with the UN and Nato in Bosnia and Kosovo, and is expected to return to Iraq.

So Harry may end up in Iraq, just as his uncle served as a Navy helicopter pilot in the Falklands War. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk/2428525.stm

Prince pays tribute to Falklands dead
The Duke of York has paid his respects at the graves of Argentinean soldiers killed in the Falklands War. It marked the first time a senior British figure has publicly recognised the sacrifice of those who fought as Britain's enemy in the 1982 conflict. Earlier the Duke paid a moving tribute to the British servicemen killed in the battle to liberate the Falkland Islands. "The important thing, again, is reconciliation. I think that after 20 years it's time we moved forward and not look back," he said.

During the Falklands War the British suffered 255 dead, including soldiers, sailors and airmen as well as three islanders. Argentina lost 712 soldiers, sailors and pilots. During his visit, the Duke will visit Goose Green, site of one of the fiercest battles of the 1982 war. The Duke was also taking the salute on Remembrance Sunday, honouring British war dead, at the Falklands Cross of Sacrifice in the capital Stanley. The 42-year-old, who left the Royal Navy last year as a commander, is joining hundreds of other ex-servicemen who fought to liberate the Falklands from Argentinean occupation.

As a sub-lieutenant in 1982, Andrew flew on anti-submarine missions, casualty evacuations and acted as a decoy for Exocet missiles launched by Argentinean aircraft against British ships. He returned to serve in the Falklands in 1985.

3. He has said that he'll go if his unit is deployed
and I believe him. There is a long track record of British royals serving their country in wars. Remember that he's been under a close microscope ever since the nazi armband thing.

2. The British Royal Family sets an example that the elite should give back
The Queen served in WWII before she was queen.

Prince Harry has grown up a lot since that stupid stunt with the nazi armband.

4. IMO both Princes will serve in Iraq, due to concerns about the
succession, they will not be simultaneously serving in combat zones. I think that is the reason Prince Charles and Prince William never fly on the same plane together.

The difference between the Windsors and the Bush family is that one family has an ethos of privilege accompanying duty and public service and the other has been raised with the expectation of privilege.

and you can be sure one if not both princes will serve in iraq.

and more important -- prince harry isn't out there bitching and moaning about the 'sinful'' practices of others and THEN going and getting a lap dance.

8. Both the Windsors and Bushes are still spoiled........
and the one thing they definitely have in common is that both families got their roles/positions from kicking out more legitimate persons.

No use for usurpers and imposters.

9. Jenna and Harry have one thing in common -- they "pass out"
I think it is hilarious that the quaint British phrase for graduating Sandhurst is to "pass out."

Jenna has a tendency to "pass out" as well, doesn't she?

http://azazel.smugmug.com/gallery/470814/1/38072871/Original

According to this website:

this extremely suppressed picture of what looks like Jenna Bush, George W. Bush's daughter, in her bikini, passed out drunk on a picnic table without a top on.

*********

or according to this blog:

http://www.pauldavidson.net/2004/11/12/words-for-your-enjoyment-jenna-bush/

I happened to be in Dallas with some friends for a bachelor party for one of my good friends and we found ourselves at a local watering hole (name withheld). I was in charge of the tequila shots and so I went up to the bar to order another round. While I was waiting there, I noticed a girl half-passed out on the bar stool. I didn’t know it then, but it was Jenna Bush.

Jenna Bush: Trees are pretty.

Me: Yes. Yes, they sure are.

Jenna Bush: My daddy owns lots and lots of trees. He can do whatever he wants with those trees. He could even come to your house and chop down all your trees and use them for firewood to keep us all warm on cold winter nights and you’d never be able to do anything about it.

Me: That’s wonderful.

Then, the bartender took my order and I waited for him to pour the shots. Little blabbermouth on my left was still babbling away.

Jenna Bush: How many tequila shots are you getting?

Me: Twelve.

Jenna Bush: That’s nothing.

Me: Yeah, well that’s how many I need.

Jenna Bush: I usually need fifteen to get me all warm inside but then sometimes I get too warm and need to take off my jacket but then as soon as I do I’m cold again and the choice I have to make is do I drink a few more shots or do I put my jacket back on… You know?

Me: Yeah, totally.

Jenna Bush: So, what brings to you Texas?

Me: Bachelor party, actually.

Jenna Bush: Ooooooooooooooh.

Me: What, Ooooooh?

Jenna Bush: Just, ooooooh.

Me: What does that mean, exactly?

Jenna Bush: I’ll tell you but I have to whisper it into your ear.

So I lean in. She leans in. And then, she burps. Loudly. I pull back, annoyed as she starts laughing hysterically.

Jenna Bush: You are so stupid! No one ever falls for the secret burp thingie!

Me: Uh huh.
