executive order 13292
At the end of Jason Leopold's article, there is a sentence with a link:
President Bush signed an executive order in March 2003 authorizing Cheney to declassify certain intelligence documents. The executive order was signed on March 23, 2003, four days after the start of the Iraq war, and two weeks after Wilson first appeared on the administration's radar.

Does the existence of this order prove him innocent or guilty? I can't tell by reading it. Jason, are you out there to explain it to us?

1. Depends on how you look at it I guess.
The information was leaked PRIOR to the order. My guess is the order was specifically designed to cover his ass but was it retroactive? Even if it was does that make it okay. There is something that is missing in this puzzle. I think the prosecutor has the missing puzzle piece but I still question whether anything can be done about it until we get the thugs out of the house and senate. There is just too much corruption.

Not that I didn't already know it but we don't actually have a government anymore. Just a King and his cronies. We gotta take care of all of them to right this wrong.

2. here's a little trip up
Sec. 1.7. Classification Prohibitions and Limitations. (a) In no case shall information be classified in order to:

(1) conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error;

(2) prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency;

(3) restrain competition; or

(4) prevent or delay the release of information that does not require protection in the interest of the national security.

(b) Basic scientific research information not clearly related to the national security shall not be classified.

I'd say he violated this without a doubt.
