On what domestic issues is the "International Option" appropriate?

Poll question: On what domestic issues is the "International Option" appropriate?

Looks like the ACLU is going International on the Hurricane Katrina disaster:

This got me thinking: What other domestic issues would the "International Option" be appropriate? If Frist and the far right want to use the "nuclear option" to stack the courts even more next time there is a vacancy, maybe the ACLU and other human rights groups can use the "International Option" to protect the voice of the rest of America. Of course, the far right is livid about this, but I think that those in power need to be held accountable! On what issue besides Katrina do you think this would be appropriate?

1. It appears to me that we, as in each of us as individuals taken as

a group, can only count on ourselves. Unless we are wealthy, which most of us never will be, leaders could care less about us. Feingold's preponderant lack of committee response regarding censure proves this.
