Did You Give Birth Too Another Corporate Slave?
A corporate slave being one who can not provide food, clothing and shelter for one self with out working ones entire life for a corporation?

Will your son and/or daughter grow up to be just another corporate slave for all its life?

1. K&R, right on!
If the son or daughter manages to find other people to hitch with, no problem. They'll be too busy working to relax or, godforbid, think. THAT is why higher paying jobs are being offshored. You do not want a country full of people who can think. Unless they help think on your side...

Single people are just left to die.

2. I'm hoping we can remain employed in SMSAs small enough

for large corporations to remain uninterested. This allows small businesses to thrive and provide innovation products and services. The larger our city gets, the more franchises it attracts, and that is hurting small businesses.

Your point is well taken. I think most of us will end up having children working for the United States of Halliburton or the US of EXXON or something as they swallow up other industries.

own a business. how about a contract worker slave?

i just do not have the same perspective on making a living to provide for our needs and wants and that of a family, our children. and this post is almost offensive to me. jsut not how i see things. today corporations are screwing employees. it wasnt a couple decades ago employees were screwing corporations. it is a cycle thing that goes on. the day corporation, employees work to include customer is the day all three groups will benefit. i think corporation will have to cycle out of where they are today, with the help of the people yelling and demanding.

i am not on corporation side today

i know in the past i worked for corporation and it was a very good job. i was not slave. i earned a pay, good pay and benefits and was able to take care of myself.

my sons wont grow up to be "slaves" in any form. be it corporate slave, or slave to the extreme left that want to dictate rules to walk life, or slave to the extreme right that want to dictate spiritual behavior. they wont be slaves because we dont live life in fear, ergo cops can do anything, airport security can do anything, nsa can spy on us, because we are all so damn afraid and they are protecting us after all. my kids wont do group think. so i feel fine with my kids, regardless of the job they get when they are older to feed and clothe and provide a roof over their head and their families

5. Alas, I appear to have given birth to a ski bum
He's already put off college for one year, spent the winter working and skiing, Now, he wants to go to SA this summer to ski, and he's taliking about Colorado next winter and putting off college again. Sheesh, I'm almost beginning to wish he would turn into a corporate slave.

6. I am soooooo lucky in this respect.. I can sew, I garden, I can food,
I can raise and slaughter an animal (not that I relish the idea), I can do basic carpentry, I can fish, I can dry food, and I can cook without modern facilities.. My grandfather grew up during the depression, and it was his life work to teach us grandkids to completely fend for ourselves.. My other set of grandparents thought he was kooky, but I value the lessons he taught me above all others.. I can take care of myself in almost any given situation, and you can't put a price on something like that..
