dear senators hatch, graham (lindsey), cornin and other R in the censure
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 02:40 PM by flordehinojos
meeting this morning, TALK TO ME ABOUT MORALITY, UPRIGHTNESS, HONESTY AND DECENCY WHEN YOU HAVE THE UPRIGHTNESS, HONESTY, AND MORAL DECENCY TO ADMIT TO YOURSELVES AND TO THE NATION THAT YOU KNOW THAT BUSH IS A DAMN GOON LIAR ... this call also goes out to those democratic senators who abandoned Russ Feingold and let him face the lions' den practically all by himself.

SHAME. SHAME. SHAME. and double SHAME to those senators who insinuated that it is the SENATE or the senators who are calling for censure the ones who ought to be censured.

we have become a nation of monkeys in a bell hop outfit...we open the door for bush to be above the law and do what he damn well pleases to do.

3. That Cornyn really made me see red when
he accused John Dean of being there to try to promote his book and called him a convicted felon. Cornyn should be censured. After watching those hearings, I felt totally abandoned. Who will save us? We gotta do it ourselves, because the Dems sure won't. I did think that Finegold did a very good job, and didn't let any of the scumbags intimidate him.

4. Perhaps it is time for a revolution
in te streets. Our elected officials aren' representing a large numer of us. It is hard to sit back and see nothing done. The entire world knows Bush is a liar. Yet nobody does a thing.

6. I think we're getting closer.
The people who were calling in on the first segment of Washington Journal were very angry and frustrated too. Republicans and Dems alike. One Republican caller said he wouldn't vote either Repub or Dem. One woman wanted to go to Canada. One woman said bush* couldn't even read from a piece of paper.

5. Graham said NSA spies on innocent US citizens.
Near the end of questioning, he asked one witness(paraphrased):

Al-Kayduh calls a Kansas wheat farmer to ask about buying wheat, which will be sold to support terrorism.

Kansas wheat farmer DOES NOT KNOW the buyer is Al-kayduh.

Should the NSA not be able to monitor this call because it was about wheat not terror?

This blows the "If you're talking to Al-Kayduh, we wanna know what you're talkin' about" line of BS out the window. He stressed the innocence of the wheat farmer.

If the NSA would continue to monitor the wheat farmer, to see when the "deal went down." That makes a US citizen, on US soil the TARGET of the wiretap. NSA needs a warrant. Plain and simple. * broke the law. Just a thought.

9. i think someone pointed out just such a fact ...
and graham also went after john dean--said dean had been to jail. dean said he never had. and then graham said O BULL or something similar about Nixon's claim that his coverup of the Ellsberg psychiatric office was done because of national defense (same thing bush is claiming: national defense) and when Dean tried to explain why Nixon claimed it was national defense, graham kept going after dean and kept saying OH BULL or something similar. It is interesting how he can allow one man to say NATIONAL DEFENSE but say another man making the same claim years earlier is just BULL.

13. Its all about the coverup
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 08:11 PM by fliesincircles
If * is just listening to AQ calls from offshore, he doesn't need to say he's following FISA. That was Feingold's point. * also doesn't have to use that "inherent power" BS, or the AUMF BS. That again was Feingold's point. * is watching innocent Americans with ABSOLUTELY no link to terror whtsoever, that is what Graham let out of the bag. Hence the coverup. For "national security" reasons of course.
