I have never had a problem with a Hispanic/Latino person. Period. I have had plenty of problems with heterosexual white 'Christians' telling me God made Adam and Eve, not Steve.

"But they should learn ENGLISH @^^#&&$@@!" . . .where I grew up there were whole ethnic neighborhoods with signage in the mother tongue. Yes, learn English because it will improve your status as an immigrant and keep you out of the bottom rung of jobs. But if I see a storefront whose sign is solely in Vietnamese, I can either assume there is nothing there of interest to me or I can go in and ask what they sell.
