We often complain about the power of media in politics, but this author has a great point in how media treats women.

charges after the defense attorney and the cops showed her cell phone pictures of what happened to her.

And people wonder why nine out of ten rapes are never reported, let alone prosecuted.

And yes, that's exactly why 9/10 rapes aren't reported. It's a really shitty way to treat women (and kids) and these fundies and these nutjobs in S.D. and across the country show more f******* respect to a bunch of cells than they do to living breathing lives.
