1. That was so sad

Many of them commit crimes so they can go to prison and not have to live on the street.

2. I should watch to get my activism up, but I can't.
my son is autistic and takes an antipsychotic med, and I shudder to think how our society could eventually turn on him if he has a bad emotional moment.

4. I understand, my mother can't bring herself to watch it either.
And she is a Psychiatric Nurse.

My brother has severe mental illness and is finally doing well and living on his own after about 20 years of struggling to get the right medications. Without my mother's help, I'm sure this could be my brothers situation too.

Plus, now my 14 year old niece is beginning to slide into Manic-depression, and her mother (my sister) has her own problems with anxiety.

Good luck, and don't give up on your son, he might not always be able to show it, but he does appreciate what you are doing for him. Finding the right combinations in mental heath can take a lot of time, but it should all work out eventually.
