Bush called our soldiers "kids" in his press conference
Wasn't there a time that we were blasted for doing this? These were "brave men and women capable of making their own decisions about their lives" to them?

1. More disrespect for the soldiers from the "missing in action president"
It so obvious that he doesn't care about them, it's not only 19-30 somethings getting wounded and killed but 40 and 50 year old adults....they are all adults...

How much more can this country stand of this utter incompetence?

2. They ARE kids--they can't go to the bar and order a beer before they
get on their flight to the hellhole sandbox...

They're 18, 19, 20, and they are coming home maimed, or in an aluminum transfer tube.

Hey, Bushie....LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE!

13. Of course they are not ALL kids, but too many of them are
The average age of casualties is 27. Some are, of course, older, and some, younger. As they rotate out the older members of the Guard and Reserves, and rotate in increasing numbers of ACDU assets, that average age will go down. It's already starting a downward trend.

If we go to a draft, and plus up the military with a load of teens out of high school, it will go down even more.

In February of this year, fifty six servicemembers were killed in Bushie the Butcher's war. Almost half of them were age 21 or younger. Kids.

6. That is what a friend of mine said when he came back
He was doing translation for the Marines in Afghanistan. He keeps saying the should be home dating, going to school, playing basketball. Instead they are getting blown up far away from home.
