The Greatest Scandal: No Rescue, No Relief, No Recovery
yes, I am talking about Katrina. The storm that flooded a great American city and left her citizens abandoned and ignored while they sat on roofs and highways and overpasses and in convention centers in plain sight of American television and died.

The troops that could have rescued them sat mobilized but uncalled for by the Commander in Chief.

The relief from FEDERAL Emergency Management and the Red Cross was unforthcoming

The recovery and accounting for of bodies and the missing is still obscured by bureaucratic dunghills. The economic recovery and rebuilding of New Orleans was seen through so cynical a prism by the Commander-in-Chief that he designated his disgraced aide-de-camp as being in charge although he has no relevant experience except for sycophancy and corruption- but hey, those may have been the major qualifiers.

The Commander in Chief is still in Office
The Director of Homeland Security under whose direction FEMA operated is still in office.
The bodies are still uncounted and unaccounted for. The recovery dollars have been apportioned in terms of partisan per capita.

So, finally, I guess we collectively have no sense of outrage or decency.
