Has anyone seen THANK YOU FOR SMOKING?

This movie looks hilarious political satire but it isn't out in my area. I can't understand why the fuck it isn't. It's not like an independent film or anything and it has plenty of big name actors in it. I don't see why it isn't being released everywhere. Does anyone know if they intend to release it nationwide anytime soon?

Also, it hasn't seemed to make headlines. I figured the typical GOP critics would be out in full force, etc. etc. I guess this just got totally blown over because of V for Vendetta.

Edit: Also, considering the abundance of topics about smoking bans, I would've thought that this movie would be getting some discussion on DU...

Globe reviewer---he said it made no sense never to show smoking in a film such as this.

5. I read the book...one of the my favorites!

I can't wait to see the movie. If it is half as funny as the book, it will be worth it.

In fact, if you can find a copy read it before seeing the movie. It is a quick read, not a whole lot thicker than an Ann Coulter book. And even though it is fiction, it also contains 100x more truth than anything Coulter has ever spewed forth.
