Paul Haggis, the Canadian director of "Crash" will lead a protest in Hollywood
this weekend against the war in Iraq.

I remember when the debate on Brokeback and Crash was going on, I commented when
he received the award, he said "Peace" during his acceptance speech. I didn't
hear that word many times during the Academy Awards. I'm so glad for his
success and grateful he will be speaking out against this awful war and I loved
his movie.

1. Paul Haggis! Check out his next project
He's going to adapt Richard Clarke's "Against All Enemies" for the screen.

Even if you thought Brokeback should have beaten Crash, Haggis is a cool and talented guy. We need more like him.

2. Well, some people here are still pissed that his better film won the Oscar
Oh, wait, yeah. It's true.

Paul Haggis is a great man and a great director. He has an amazing future ahead of himself.
