Central Michigan University Republicans in chaos - LOL!
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Midland freshman Dennis Lennox II, was running for chairman of the organization but did not win – despite extensive campaign efforts.

During an hour-long meeting, Lennox continually raised procedural questions and called for quorum vote which would require half the members of College Republicans to be present to vote.

<snip>

Lennox’s actions frustrated many members and prompted a second organization, “Campus Republicans,” to temporarily form.

<snip>

An anonymous person placed fliers on the desks before the meeting. They showed a picture of Little dressed as Daisy Duke from a Halloween picture taken out of context, and read “Is this the ‘conservative’ you want? Say no to Leslie.”

3. Chippies (CMU) suck, Broncos rule!
The WMU/CMU rivalry is like a junior version of UM/MSU. Although, really, UM's rival is OSU, not MSU. MSU grads freak when you tell them that.

As a fifth generation Democrat and a one-semester Chippewa washout, I should contact the Dems up there on the campus in Mount Pleasant and see what I can do to help keep this stirred up.
Alums have an obligation to do their part.

15. I love it here
WSU is the bomb.com.
So our sports teams are mediocre...except for hockey!
It's still a pretty cool place, in so many ways.

8. and another gop strategist
is born... don't like the rules - try to overpower and overrule... never accept a democratically decided decision (ala a vote) and try to manipulate the situation to your pre-determined desired outcome.

10. Quite true
They have to learn their dirty tricks somewhere, and since at least the time of Donald Segretti (remember that little weasel?), the GOP has been using college politics as the training ground for trying out their election-stealing strategies.

11. and look at where those college repub leaders in the early eighties are
right now:

Abramoff - sitting in jail and at the heart of the biggest scandal in Congress in decades.

Reed - first attempt at elected politics is in shambles due to the unmasking of his use of his religious followers as a commodity to be sold (and sold out) for $$.

Norquist - whose use of his nonprofit to funnel money from Abramoff to Reed now brings his group's nonprofit status in question - a very possible death knell to the organization.
