3. Reps frantically going over schedules?
Was that the week I met Duke and laughed with him over how much we were bilking the public? Was that the week?

Aww, this is fun. I had to wear one of those once. But it made me nervous and squeaky and the person I was taping kept asking if I was okay because I sounded funny.

71. They are trying to shut down the Congress permanently. Remember how Bush
made a half-hearted attempt to stop the voting the last stolen presidential election due to "terrorist threats"... this time the bush regime is very seriously trying to shut down Congress and seeing if Hastert can get away with two weeks and if he does they will continue to stop Congress from meeting. Tell your Dem Congresspersons to show up on the day the Constitution says they shall reconvene.

Those GOP fucks are definately shitting themselves.

But, when you build your alliances on money, avarice and greed, the end result is loyality that goes nowhere. You're only as loyal as your cah supply.

The GOP isn't the mafia. . .they are a bunch of swindlers who are looking to better there hands by using everyone around them!

55. Hunter - It's gotta be Hunter & any luck the Puppet Master himself
wouldn't that be sweet? Take down Hunter and his investments with Titan and Dick Cheney and DynCorp would be very sweet.

by the way, Dyncorp is a DoD front operation - (Data Information)who was contracted in 2000 by Katherine Harris, to identify "would be felons" (chiefly African American Males)and to purge them from the voter registration rolls. This was reported extensively by Greg Palast and Catherine Austin Fitts in even more detail. (Catheirne Austin Fitts is a former Poppy Bush HUD administrator who resigned as a whistleblower on Government Accounting system, Arther Anderson, and several other key figures connected to that administration and suffered extreme abuse, intimidation and death threats.

She has quite a story, and also has a lot to say about the so called War on Drugs, wrote a book called Narco Dollars for Dummies http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0202/S00054.htm

Isn't Cunningham the one who advocated that all liberals should be shot because we're traitors?

What's worse than a backstabber? How much lenience did he receive in return for being a snitch? Apparently there is no honor among thieves in the GOP.

Now, where's that popcorn?

77. You don't need a warrant to wire yourself. It's called "Consensual
Monitoring." The Feds do it all the time with suspects they've turned into informants.

Happened with Lawrence Franklin in the OSP-AIPAC spy scandal before the FBI busted the two AIPAC analysts. The only question about Franklin is, did he wear a wire when he went to Rome in December 2001 to discuss the Niger Yellowcake forgeries with Mike Ledeen and Manoucher Ghorbanifar?

There's yet another bombshell scandal brewing.

72. Congresswoman Louis Slaughter has a blog with space for comments
and has links on her site to DU and other alternate news blogs:

I wanted to let you know that the Democratic leadership requested me to give our party's response to this weekend's (Saturday, January 7, 2006) radio address of President Bush. While local radio stations do not carry this speech, the cable network channel C-SPAN will carry both starting at 2:50 pm. You will also be able to listen and read my speech at the national Democratic Committee's web site.

The topic of my address is going to be the growing Republican ethical crisis and the need for honest leadership in Washington. Speaking of which, I distributed a backgrounder to the national media on Jack and his Republican pals in Washington, making it clear - this is a Republican scandal. Keep repeating this over, and over, and over again. Here is the backgrounder on Jack and his Republican friends.

So, please tune in tomorrow and come back to my website, and let me know what you think by posting your comments here:

Thank you again for all you do to restore faith in our democracy.

In Solidarity,

Torture is not American ...
Tuesday December 27, 2005

I wanted to share with you a speech I gave on the House Floor last week that focused on the Defense Appropriations Bill the Congress was debating. It was a bill that included Senator John McCains ban on the use of cruel and inhuman practices in US-led interrogations. I am including the full text of my speech below:....

94. Wow, so they made a deal with a Congressman, who I thought
was the 'big fish'!! If a Congressman is not the main target, then who is? A Senator, a WH official, probably more Congressmen, Defense Contractors. And yesterday I read that there may be a connection between Cunningham and Abramoff!

These Republican tough guys aren't so tough after all ~

Republican, Larry Franklin also wore a wire ~ which led to two more Republicans being arrested.

Republicans caught on secret tape! The irony of it all!!

Republicans were jumping for joy when Kenneth Starr wired Linda Tripp to entrap her friend, Monica!!

I tried to tell my Republican friends that they should be careful what they supported. But they were so sure their party 'had nothing to hide' they refused to even consider the possibility that it could happen to them.

Rush Limbaugh ran to a liberal trial lawyer and the ACLU to try to protect his privacy. No one has been more maligned by the Rush L. types, than 'liberal, trial lawyers'. I bet Liberal trial attorneys' phones are ringing off the hook these days ~

I wonder how many more Republicans are wired? Bob Ney, maybe? Or Doolittle? Tom Delay? How can a decent Republican congressman (if there is one out there) trust anyone these days?

No wonder they are not coming back to DC until the end of the month! Much as I dispised this administration and believed them to be corrupt, I had no idea it was this bad!

What's too bad is that he won't be sent to either Angola Penitentiary in Louisiana or Parchman Penitentiary in Mississippi where the inmates might find his porcine ass too enticing with "more cushion for the 'pushin'". . . . That would certainly be a sight to behold.

Ratting out Duke would have meant ratting on themselves. That's how it works in the little club known as congress. They all talk tough, and slander each other and such, but nobody is going to shoot the cash cow from either side.

...get with the program of really limiting government with a principled party that's serious about it - before our country dies.
That ain't the program. "God, Guns, and Gays" is the program, and if the country dies because of it, so be it.

Not democRat. Obviously not Republican. Maybe Libertarian. Maybe Constitution. Maybe something new.
The problem you have, Hank, is that the Democratic and Republican parties are not abstracts. They are comprised of human beings. Human beings who easily can join any party they so choose and turn it into exactly what the Dems and Reps are today. People don't change just because the label they attach to themselves changes.

As long as massive amounts of money flow to Washington, corruption will occur in one form or another.

148. Oh, there's already a title?
How creative.

How about James Wood. Is Charlton Heston still alive?

142. Proof is a good thing. Keep a tight hold on the line, sink the hooks...
All of them!!

Keep on the press, because they are backing away from coverage. I feel sorry for the miners too, but I'm more concerned with getting my country back than in watching every grief stricken moment they have - which is an intrusion on their privacy anyway. Give them time to bury their dead and meanwhile, SHOW ME the NEWS ON GETTING MYT COUNTRY BACK!

147. Missouri Rep. Roy Blunt has to be worried, considering
his political organization was the recipient of flights from Wilkes's company, 'Group W'. Learjet flights provided by Wilkes are giveaways of the same sort that ultimately led to Cunningham's guilty plea!!

153. Question: "an ace Navy fighter pilot decorated for his service in Vietnam"
I'm aware of the so-called "service" provided by US bombardiers who dumped payloads on hospitals in Hanoi as well as carcinogenic exfoliant up and down the length of Vietnam.

But how would one be called an "ace" fighter pilot in a war against a land-based guerrilla army of peasants? In short, don't you have to shoot down something to be an "ace"?
