This really is line in the sand time - CENSURE *
Cat killer is going to bring a vote to the Senate floor, possibly as early as tomorrow. Democrats have got to stand with Russ. I for one WILL NOT FORGET how they vote. No excuses. Nope. Not one. Zero.

Senators, it's time to exercise your patriotic duty to protect and defend THE CONSTITUTION and WE THE PEOPLE.

:patriot:

5. you shouldn't have to "rally" the troops on this one
if they don't get it by now, they should be voted out

There should NOT be ONE Democratic Senator who doesn't vote for this including Liberman

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AN IMPEACHABLE CRIME. This is what happened to Nixon

Going to be interesting

how often line in the sand time rolls around at DU. I hope my Senator (Leahy) votes for it, but if he doesn't, I'll still love him.

9. You watch too many movies.
Politics is never as neat and definitive as we wish it would be. Of course Dems need to stand with Russ, but he himself calls this simply a first step. He understands that we have a long, hard slog ahead of us, and it's no job for prima donnas and drama queens.

NGU.

11. I'm not expecting the resolution to pass. But I want to know Dems
are doing the only decent, honest, and rational thing possible, by voting for censure. I will have no faith left in them if they don't.

40. All I can say in response (yes, I know you weren't replying to me,
just about me), but to YOU this may be about drama, to ME it is about a line in the sand. I am dead serious about this. Others can reach their own conclusions. I have reached the end point.

12. No. If it passed, which it won't, it might lead to impeachment.
That is if we take back the Senate and House.

14. Does Money talk here
I believe censure is the best next step and I thanked Russ for standing up. my question here is do I need to donate to his 08 campaign to get the other Dem's to get on board. Is that the way they know that people stand behind the proposal.

Most of DU is still talking "elections."

Only fools think "elections" are how fascists are driven from power ...

26. Sadly, some will probaly make it "head in the sand" time...
... yet again. Which is strange, since that position doesn't cover their ass.

But at least Sen. Feingold can sleep at night. What an impressive politician.
