US Casualties After a Gun Battle in Baghdad Buried Deep in AP Article.....


U.S. army soldiers take positions during a fierce battle with Iraqi gunmen in a dangerous west Baghdad neighborhood, Iraq, Sunday, March 12, 2006. It was not known what prompted the fighting nor if there were any dead. An AP Television News cameraman reported that a U.S. helicopter landed nearby to remove casualties.There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military. (AP Photo/ Asad Muhsin)

2. Sure does resemble Vietnam just replace the green with tan.

4. Mean-while- Bush & Rumsfeld say that they're trying to avoid civil war
but have no-plan there-after if it started tomorrow -- absolutely clueless as what to do, would they perhaps cosider getting our troops the hell out of there ASAP!!?

... we don't seem to be getting the number of wounded from the MSM lately? I've noticed this trend for several months now.

Pace put events in Iraq in perspective and said he is pleased with the progress being made in the country. "I wouldn't put a great big smiley face on it, but things are going very, very well,"

8. War - what is it good for?
I think everyone who voted republican should be required to have their own kids serve in the military. See war isn't so fun when your sending your own kids to bleed in this damnable useless nightmare.
