Alternate UAE Deal Approved!
Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 06:37 PM by BuyingThyme
That’s right: As soon as the ports deal collapsed, another deal was quietly slipped in.

In this new deal, the United States Senate temporarily became the sole property of a handful of foreign dictators known as the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

UAE spokesperson John Warner was sent to the floor of the former U.S. Senate, where he proceeded to read a policy statement which had been prepared by and for the UAE cabal.

This handful of foreign dictators, in their own words, from what was once the heart of American democracy, was allowed to dictate American policy directly to the American people.

And it went down in the open, on national television, without debate.

Another proud day.

6. Even thought satire. Dobbs commented on how extraordinary
that was for the PRESS RELEASE to be read on the floor.

Dubai Company to Transfer US Ports to American Company
By David D. Kirkpatrick and Carl Hulse
The New York Times

Thursday 09 March 2006

DP World, the United Arab Emirates state-owned company that had agreed to buy several port terminals in the United States, said today that it will transfer those properties to an American-owned company, bowing to a political groundswell against the acquisition...

And how many ports are covered by this deal? 6 or 21? No real answers in this article.

Edit: And what does "transfer" mean? Sell? I want specifics.

8. Oh, no, that's a whole different deal.
I'm just ranting on the deal which gave the UAE a direct line to, and unfettered control of, the U.S. Senate.

12. Okay. I'm sure this thing has more tentacles
than an octopus. You don't have to rant about all of them at once. :)
