I smell "the jury is still out on global warming" written all over this...
Tell me I am wrong, but what better way is there to dodge the facts of environmental changes than to limit our ability to measure and observe the earths climate?

I saw this article about budget cuts for America's fleet of environmental satellites and immediately suspected it was not by chance, but rather calculated to stall even longer the kinds of reforms corporations have been fighting for the last several decades. So once again, we see what the priorities of this administration are... protect the worst environmental abusers by obfuscating the data while placing the average citizen at increased risk of disaster.

Simply put, these people have no moral creede...

1. those satellites wouldn't work anyway
everyone knows the earth is flat,
they would just crash into the turtle.

2. no doubt it too will be privitzed? Was it Santorium and accuweather that
were teaming up. I forget the details (was during Katrinia this was an issue).
