Something I'm wondering with Cheney campaigning for Harris

Didn't they try to get her to stop campaigning and tried ignoring her at first? So why now all of a sudden are they campaigning for her? Cheney and Harris had some really big shingdig recently where you paid $500 for a ticket and fancy dinner and Harris left going on Air Force One to DC for a meeting. So what's going on? Or do I just have my tin foil hat on?? :tinfoilhat:
