Even Jerry Fartwell has become a politician
Notice that Jerry says

must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to enter heaven.

This is bull shit and he is equivicting. Jews and muslums both beleive that Jesus was a holy man and walked the earth.

Jerry's real thoughts were: to accept jesus as your lord and savior.
