They vote Republican because they've always voted Republican because their parents voted Republican because their grandparents voted Republican.

Then, all of a sudden, they wake up, and realize that the Republican Party of their grandparents no longer exists. It's been replaced with big government, borrow and spend, stick-your-nose-in-our-personal-business fundies and wonder what the hell happened.

There's a ton of paelo-cons ripe for the plucking. We just have to have a Democrat who is palatable to them - and, sad to say, it can't be another New England/Northern senator. They've been so demonized. So, no Hillary or Kerry. Even though I'm not a fan because of his DLC ties, it's gonna have to be Warner. Or, even though I'm not a fan because of his lack of foreign policy, an Edwards. Or, let's HOPE, a Feingold or, well, my personal favorite, a Clark.

9. Just a hypothetical, but suppose...

To all those who say the UAE ports deal will make the United States less secure, please consider this hypothetical problem.

Suppose that Mohammad Q. Terrorist is sitting in his tent somewhere in a hidden location in the Middle East with a crate full of suitcase sized nuclear bombs and training videos for killing infidels.

Further suppose that he wants to ship this crate to his terrorist cell leader buddy Abdul M. Jihad hiding somewhere in a rented warehouse in the United States.

Now assume that this UAE ports deal has already taken place and Mohammad and Abdul know this.

Question #1: Specifically how will the terrorists get the crate full of goodies from the tent in the Middle East to the warehouse in the United States?

Question #2: Specifically how will it be harder to do this if the UAE ports deal did not happen?



hint- "Because they're Muslims/Arabs" is not an acceptable answer to either question.
