Fox News: Iraq Civil War “Made Up By The Media?”
Fox News: Iraq Civil War “Made Up By The Media?”
Fox News continues its crackerjack analysis of sectarian strife in Iraq. Previously, it explored whether “an all-out civil war in Iraq” could be “a good thing.”

Now they have an new theory. Moments ago on Fox:

Maybe they should ask the families of the roughly 1500 Iraqis who have died.

2. I heard some Freeper trying to rationalize this on Al Franken's show today
I thought this guy (as well as Sam Seder) was making this up. Apparently it's a talking point.

4. The entire war is made up as far as it impacts us.
I mean no disrespect to those who are involved, have or have lost loved ones in the Iraq War but, it is pretty much business as usual where I work, eat, go to the movies, have a mocha latte. This is no suck it up and do your part deal for the average American. Those images and deaths and the misery and destruction...we don't feel it.
It's all part of the reason people in other countries don't really like us very much sometimes. We can do so much damage and not really be aware.

5. "Remember the slogan, Fox, not facts."
As Keith Olbermann stated on Monday the 27th.
...if you‘re wondering about that process and its origins incidentally, back in 1998, Mr. O‘Reilly tried to mention my name and he mispronounced it, Olbermann, just par for the course. Remember the slogan, Fox, not facts.

Or maybe they are just channeling Stephen Colbert's truthiness...
"I'm not a fan of facts," he intoned. "You see, facts can change, but my opinion will never change, no matter what the facts are."

7. Anything that goes bad for Bush* is "made up by the media"
Not sure how this is new, but it is pretty amazing to turn this particular propaganda channel on

8. It often seems like the Right is teaching their minions not to trust the
media, unless it's THEIR media of course. Ignore that man behind the curtain, and such.

Hopefully, folks aren't that damn dumb. Dubya's numbers would seem to indicate that they are not.
