funny quote in Top 10 conservative Idiots
I thought this George Will quote was so funny. It describes a "conservative" as a person in such a I'm sure I have never met this type of person. Perhaps George Will should meet and talk to a few conservatives.

1) Quick name something the Bush administration was right about. Candy and flowers anyone?

2) Quick list the times you can remember GWB, George Will, Coulter, Rush, Hannity... any conservative saying they were wrong. I can't either.

3) Conservatives follow politics like a football team. Their happiness is clearly wrapped into winning elections every bit like a football fans is to their team.

Basically the modern conservative is blind to the validity of their beliefs and actions and worships party over anything else. Oh and they aren't happy ever. Talk to one.

"Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised - they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes - government - they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity - it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness."

1. Check out #7, the Holy Ghost Enema preacher

in this week's top 10.
The video was both hilarious and sickening.
I am totally convinced that all Federal Elections starting with 2000 were stolen. Yet Bush did get some votes. The question I always asked was "How could ANYONE vote for Bush". This video answers that question:

...snip...
Apparently they think that 2006 will be a re-run of 2004, when Republicans successfully used these issues as red meat to get out their base. But with New Orleans in pieces, Iraq in flames, scandals from Plame to Abramoff to warrantless wiretapping blowing up in the faces of the GOP, and the Bush administration outsourcing national security to the United Arab Emirates, perhaps voters will be less inclined to decide that the most dangerous threat to America in 2006 is Billy having two mommies.

Of course, I could be wrong. Bear in mind that these are not normal people we're dealing with here. Just watch this video and you'll see what I mean.

...snip...

As far as George Will's quotes go, What the hell is this all about??
"Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so."
So he's admitting that they're wrong and oblivious and happy to be so?

2. When are they
every happy. Is there a caller on Hannity, Rush and right wing talk show that has a happy caller. Republicans own 3 branches of government and still are unhappy. Will clearly doesn't understand that his Republican base is generally a subset of unhappy people that want us to share in their unhappy lives.

3. They're miserable people
and evil and/or ignorant. I wish this country could be split in 2. Really, who needs them! There was an article that showed how Blue states contributed the most and received the least from the federal government and Red states received the most and contributed the least. And they dare to criticize us.
