Bill Maher's Friday night line-up.
Actor Danny Glover, fmr. Sen. Gary Hart and author Irshad Manji join Bill Maher's roundtable discussion. Plus, via satellite, Rep. Heather Wilson, and columnist Nicholas Kristof.

1. I'll have to wait for the transcript. Still - I'm sure he has warmed up.

2. Does Irshad Manji swing from the left or the right?
Hart and Glover are lefties. Where's the balance?

3. I think she is a lefty. Wrote a book about what it meant to be muslim,

& lesbian in about 2002. Brave soul. Not tolerant of suicide bombers or totalitarian leadership in the Middle East. Her book was directed at youth. Don't know how it did.

In it she spoke about travelling through parts of the middle east, would walk into mosques and the 'patron' would stop her and question her - she's shoot back quotes from the Koran - verbatim. Cause apparently the whole Koran is just sitting there in her head or something. She has been studying it for years.

I think she is about 36. She's been a hot property on Canadian TV, Canadian "MTV", political discussion shows, intellectual shows.. since she was about 23. Though I haven't seen much of her myself.

I think after 9/11 she was for the invasion of Afghanistan. May have even been fooled into thinking the USA was serious about intervention in Iraq - as opposed to going in and messing it up. Cannot remember.

9. Think again - I've witnessed her act.
Very affable - very articulate - very neo-con.

10. I think muslim feminists are as a whole pretty intolerant of most
"government" in the middle east. I think they see the pain doled out to women with no rights - in real time. Not as a concept that can be ignored. I'd love to see how her views have changed now that Iraq is non-secular. Cause I think that is what it is about for her.

5. She's repugnant
I remember her last appearance vividly. She came off as an opportunist Iraq war supporter. And such an annoying personality, too. I don't know, maybe she'll eat crow after this week. We'll see.
