It is clear that the Abramhoff scandal is too big for any one prosecutor
Particularly a "connected" insider recess Bush appointment with no prosecutorial experience with ties to DeLay. Duh. If Fisher stays in charge it will just be more cover-up.They will throw a few fish over the side but save the stinking rotting mass of netted fish in the hold.

Someone, somewhere, has got to seize this case and put it into the hands of a real special prosecutor or team of prosecutors to follow all the tentacles wherever they may lead.

1. Who is this prosecutor?
If Ken Starr can be Bill Clinton's prosecutor, then I want a prosecutor who has close ties to the ACLU, the AFL-CIO and NARAL.

6. I believe Fisher was a recess appointment by Bush
because her nomination was held up because of her ties to Abramoff. She is Asst. Attorney General. I think there are two ongoing investigations, one in Fl, one in Washington. At least one Congressional investigation and Fitzgerald is looking at Abramoff also. That doesn't include a possible investigation or two about foreign money in campaign finance. Then there is he trial of Delay in Tx which has an Abramoff connection.

3. Haven't these folks ever heard of the word 'recuse'
which is what they are supposed to do when they have an apparent conflict of interest?

5. Question
If these guys own million dollar homes in Tx. of Fa. do they get to keep them if they have to return this money and go to jail? or is the money sitting in a no. acct. and they will keep it all? Plus the homes can not be put into the pile of money they owe. These crooks always seem to get away with this stuff.
