I can understand now why Whittington apologized to Cheney
Just think of the influence Whittington wields now that Cheney owes him big time for not making a fuss. He can get anything he wants from Cheney. He's closer to the top guy than he's ever been previously. Before they were just acquaintances. Now they're bonded. Whittington will find he's got lots more friends now, too. The shooting certainly was a plus for Whittington.

8. Except......the Old Boy was being cryptic yesterday....
Whittington made some mysterious comments on the shooting yesterday. He said the shooting happened on "Friday", as opposed to Cheney who said it happened on Saturday.

Also, Whittington commented to the press: "I'm following the stories your'e writing, and I want you to continue".

Hmm? If Whittington takes Cheney's millions and throws out little morsels to the press, maybe he's a double-dipper.

Sounds just like a lawyer.
