American Journalism Paying Price For Not Asking Proper Questions...
as the republican party spins all matters round to a jilted white house press corp unable to get 'the scoop', lost in the shuffle are the missing questions that should have been offered up in quick, rapid, and short order in breach while waiting for the truth if ever:

what was the nature of the lobbyist relationship & activity cheney was visiting down on the ranch?

are the ranch's owners currently receiving no bid contracts in iraq?

are they vying for no-bid defense, or support contracts in any further, unauthorized, or trumped up u.s. military excursions into islamic, or oil rich territories?

was there any drinking on this little meeting with a major republican lobbyist & republican donor to the bush/cheney admin?
if so, how much?

is it true that cheney was hunting without a valid hunting license? and as an avid supporter of guns & hunting, why?

does dick cheney understand his relationship to the presidency of the united states of america as primary in light, or as a result of g.w. bush's intellectual disassociation from matters of import and policy?

why does the vice president have no respect even for the president of the united states, or he people of america?

clearly there are more, and i have been up & down these boards expressing my disdain for a free press no longer free; but if i were what is left of american journalism, i would not sit still and allow the rove/matlin/kate o'bierne spin machine to wriggle, or fritter these important issues into the margins.

1. Actually We the People are paying for this. Along with the rest of
the world. "Disdain" is a good word. Distain for the MSM, congress, and the repub party. Actually the whole political system.

2. As long as the media is comprised of 3-4 owners....
This will continue to happen, it's a monopoly of the industry.

When the Dems get back in power one of the first things they are going to have to do is regulate all industries again. Break up many of these monopolies such as the media monopoly to allow for competition, then we will see organizations get back to real journalism.

MA Bell anyone?
