I just don't understand all these attacks on the Vice President. Let's all slow down and look at the real facts. Everyone liberal and conservative believed there were Quails where the Vice President shot his gun. All the intelligence said there were quails there. Both the first Bush administration and the Clinton administration said there were quails there. We know the owners of the property had quails there because they used them against their own people. There was also evidence that the 9/11 terrorists had been given support by these quails. Based on this information I'm sure Cheney would say, "even if I knew everything I know now I would shoot Harry Whittington again."

And what is all this outrage by the press about his not going public with the information? Don't they get it? In 2001 the congress gave the administration the authority to do anything, anytime, to anyone. Obviously the "cut and run" liberals just don't get the fact that the Whitehouse has absolute power now. We are at war, if Cheney wants to pop a cap in a 78 year old man he can do it. Laws? Warrants? "We don't need them, just ask the people we appointed to see it our way," Cheney said, "hold my beer, I am going down the the press room to whack David Gregory now."

And all these reporters whining because Katharine Armstrong gave the story to the press. The Armstrongs are lobbyists for contractors in Iraq. If ANYONE owes Dick Cheney big it would be these guys. In fact, I am outraged they didn't take the blame and say they shot Whittington. You line some ones pockets with billions of dollars and they can't cover up a little shooting? This will be remembered next time the Government is handing out $50 a gallon for $1 a gallon gas and paying millions for buildings that don't really get built.

Now the press is upset because Cheney did a "soft ball" interview with Fox’s Brit Hume rather than answer some tough questions. Why did he do it? Simple, Jeff Gannon was unavailable, probably tied up with his male hooker business. And the "liberal media" is ignoring the positive side of the story; what about the parts of Harry Whittington's body that weren't shot? His legs are fine, but you won't hear that on "Air America." Maybe the liberals will stop going on and on about Cheney's five deferments now that he proved he can drop a man at thirty yards.

He should take Bush hunting.......the bonding would do them good. It would also help endorse Cheney's new cologne line....."DUCK!" for men.

Every conservative on the internet is an avid hunter and they've all been shot multiple times.

Shotguns aren't really guns, just toys. You can't really hurt people with them, only animals.

It's standard hunter etiquette to yell and scream at your fellow hunters as they're stalking their prey.

The most dangerous place to be is behind the people with the guns.
