Yet it is hard to argue with non voters when their argument is that thay are all crooks, and there is no diffierence.We as independ voters have got to save the country. Logistically and strategically, I think the imperialists would have been better off annexing Syria to gain a direct line from Iraq to the Mediterranean, but apparently there are other considerations at work. Perhaps the Iranian menace is an easier sell, or the Syrians have cut a deal. :shrug:

11. While an annoying message, the US lacks the ability to invade Iran

We lack the manpower, the political willpower, the diplomatic leeway, and the military launch bases to do an actual, effective invasion of Iran. We've already dropped a few recons into the country, but Iran is really a big modern country with a LOT of scattered targets that we couldn't possibly begin to take out. Some clandestine operative jobs might be in the works, but our human assets inside Iran are for shit right now--and our ability to recruit more is close to nil.

The SUV crowd may love their crowing bravado, but no actual invasion of Iran is possible. Thats one thing we can relax about.
