1. Fifteen feet isn't really point-blank range.

Point-blank would be close enough for powder burns. Fifteen feet is, however, plenty close enough to nearly blow someone's head off. Apparently Cheney was in fact close enough that many of the pellets are lodged too deeply to be worth the risk of digging out, which is consistent with five yards' distance or so. The old fellow was damned lucky not to be blinded.

2. 15ft. assumes 40 pellets in the face. Media reports show it was near 100.

6. Much closer than 15 feet and you'll blow someone's face right off.

Shotguns destroy an awful lot of tissue at point-blank range. I doubt that this was any closer than five yards if he's not completely mutilated.

CLOSE to being the truth with these guys. why they are such "hard work" . gotta dig adn dig and dig some more, all the time in the zillion different stories. they even lie when they dont have to.
