2006 - The Year of GOP scandals
This is the year, folks. More GOP crime is going to come to light in this year than all years before combined!

2. This is going to be a good year, when our worst enemies take it...
Consider this: Even if Democrats do not gain a majority of seats in November (I think it's going to depend on how far-reaching these scandals are) we are going to be rid of some of the people that, well... we would like to be rid of.

-Bill Frist is definitely retiring, and will no longer be Senate Majority Leader.
-Rick Santorum will get pounded like a Whack-a-Mole if he faces Bob Casey in an election.
-Since he's practically humped Jack Abramoff's leg in the past, Georgia may finally get rid of Ralph Reed...for good!
-Tom Delay finally behind bars?...we'll see.
-The Governator is screwed, once his opponent hangs Bush around his neck (though I think having him as a high-profile Republican kind of helps us.)
-Anywhere from 3-20 Congressmen and aides involved in the Abramoff scandal.
-The only Senate challenge in the South is from...Katherine Harris! *evil laugh*

And then there are all the scandals in Ohio, and Bernie Sanders is running in Vermont. This will be a good year for progressives, whether Democrats win huge...or just big.
