Cheney is going senile
Hunting Tame Quail, and he shoots a guy.

Why is he so trigger happy?

It's not like they were hunting big game or something like that.

Maybe it's because he is not in control of all of his actions.

Maybe he isn't fit to be the VP.

2. He has physically detiorated to the point of....
barely being able to stand up by himself. I think he had a fainting spell, and as he was falling he accidentally pulled the trigger.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

3. Good try, but he could eat a baby on TV and nothing would happen
except Fox News would say he's fighting terrorists.

5. Bingo! You're onto something ck . .
anybody who's known first-hand someone going through heart-related illness and operations knows how PLAQUE can easily get loose throughout vascular system, which, in turn, can cause all sorts of brain damage. . .to a lesser or greater degree.

Cheney's plaque must be FLOWING PROFUSELY through his brain. . .dementia setting in.

6. Vice President Elmer Fudd - Wolcott
Vice President Elmer Fudd
Posted by James Wolcott
...wings bystander.

Time to take the shotgun away from grandpa, who's blasted perhaps hundreds of innocent birds into bloody feathers during his life, before he has another senior moment. Bush at least had the semi-decency or caution to stop after his first wrongful birdicide.

"When George W. Bush made his first run for governor in 1994, he invited a posse of reporters to accompany him on a bird-hunting safari into the wilds outside Austin. The quarry was supposed to be the fearsome mourning dove. After tramping across a cornfield, Bush sighted his prey, leveled his shotgun and fired, nearly obliterating his catch. Upon inspection of the remains, however, the soon-to-be governor made a troubling discovery. He'd downed a killdeer, which, as any novice bird watcher knows, looks nothing like a dove--or any other game bird, for that matter. Indeed, in Texas the killdeer is listed as a threatened species. Needless to say, Bush wasn't punished for his crime. This act of savagery actually may have won him a few votes."
