Bush Not Welcomed In New Hampshire
I'm just posting because it makes me smile and I know I like to share things with people when I smile. :D

Snip: <President Bush visited New Hampshire today to talk about his proposed budget.

The right-leaning Union Leader ran an editorial today that concluded, "Mr. President, you are not fooling anyone. Stop these short-term political games and give us a budget that brings federal spending down to a sustainable level. Don't let the American people down by passing this problem on to our children." >

1. Good lord, FreedomAngel82, don't tell any of my friends that I agree
with the Union Leader, but they make an awfully good point on passing this incredible, unpayable debt on to the next generations of children.

When ultra-conservative newspapers begin to question Republican presidents, the year ahead in Congress begins to unravel.

I appreciate the post.

2. Yep
Lots of papers in the 2004 election endorsed Kerry when before they did Bush. :)

4. True. And it sends a jolt of homesickness through me that the
country was cheated of an opportunity for a Kerry-Edwards administration.

Getting stuck with Bush/Cheney has been dispiriting.

3. I like it when you smile. The Union Leader, no less.
Better come up with something new, Georgie.

"Hey, look at that crop duster over there!"

7. NH wasn't George's base .. they went Blue in 2004
I'm a NH native living in Pa..

Most people while republican, tend to be blue collared republicans(honestly usually because of "family" were republicans but they have learned, Republicans of today are NOT your parent's republicans. My parents and my grandparents are now identifying with Democrats and learning what they stand for. Bush made that argument so much easier for me, conversion was easy.

They are not blind followers. Wrong is wrong, the truth is truth and bullshit is bullshit. They know asshole when they see one.

The union leader is a conservative paper, but it took some flack from O'Reilly a year or so ago.. that has pushed them further from the extreme and more to the moderate side.
