4. Facial protection. Think "armor".
The maker's website has a quote from a user who says he can wear it and still manage to drink. A good thing in high temperatures.

Take off the sunglasses (not regulation) and it's a bit less intimidating.

5. when i was a little kid, this kinda stuff wowed me...
i've since learned that military stuff cost too much when a certain quality of common sense can find compromises and achieve a nation's objectives at a fraction of the cost of war: i've also learned that glorifying military prowess and nationalism have caused too much power to accrue to parasites (cuz militaries, unless there's a real threat, are just useless eaters, and they eat far too much) and warp a netion's infomedia...during a less pretentious era, just mobilizing ones military forces (or cancelling scheduled leaves etc) was considered an 'act of war' by the nation's neighbors...by this measure, the usa has been in a state of war with the rest of the world for years! AND WITH it's own people! (they were the ones who paid for it!) ...a million superdooper sturmtroopers haven't protected the usa one iota; from geebush, or the gopigs, or the cia. And they know full well that 911 was a inhouse operation of the natsec system (if they don't, they're stooopid) yet they still act like tough guys! tough guys, yeah sure! Burying little babies alive with their hapless moms, ok, but protect their own fukking country? NOOOO!

(these statistics are several years old-bush has made the waste much worse)

10. It looks a little lacking in throat protection
You think they'd add something like the throat piece from a goalie mask...

Also "Predator" is a strange name for armor - seems kind of backward.
