4. I'm in London right now folks.......

Everything is alright here as of the past 6-8 hours, but last night and through most of today it was insane. 70mph winds and I nearly got blown off my feet this afternoon. Couldn't sleep at all last night because the wind was so loud that it sounded as if a jumbo jet was firing up it's engines in front of my house.

5. The wind echoing up through the stairwell was very unnerving

A lawn swing blew off its foundation and landed in front of my car...just missing it.

We were under an advisory for 100 mph winds but it never got that bad, fortunately.
