I go to great lengths to NOT show how much I hate this RW culture of corruption.


It irritates me to no end to hear hannity, bortz, rush et all denigrating the educational system.

Hell, NONE of them would last in my classroom alone for 15 minutes. They would be crying like babies

I teach in a Title I school and they would be appalled at the number of students whose parents are here without documentation. They would rather I turn them in instead of try to teach them. GRRRRRRRR

4. I'm a teacher in a low-income

high minority school. Basically, the student population is all minority, and eighty percent non English speaking. For many years, I taught middle school, and it used to amuse me to imagine the great Czar of Education, Bill Bennett, alone in my classroom with my students. I was positive that that sanctimonious smirk would be wiped off his face within seconds.

6. It might just be my fear, but the way I see it is that repukes and followers want to destroy

public education and have schools turned over to religion. Who are under no obligation to everyone getting an education. Limit the amount of education, exclude anyone that can't pay for it and you end up with educated rich and uneducated poor. Guess where they are headed? Charles Dickens days are here again.
