Poll question: How do you feel tonite.
RE: *'s speech

I have felt angry for so long, but tonite I really feel sad.

I feel sad because of the effect this escalation(surge)will have on this country. I love my country and Americans, and I feel sad for where it is heading.

4. Yeah I'm furious with him too, but this is just so sad, sending more
Americans to die in a war based on a lie, and the countless Iraqi civilians caught in a civil war or fighting against our occupation.

Our place in the world is not a beacon of light, it's a dark shadow.

For all we have lost, I am sad.

to at least try to stop the madness.

5. To quote the guy in the movie
"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take anymore!". I think the movie was "Network" and I can't remember the actor right now. And bush is interrupting my Iowa vs. Illinois basketball game. That's a big game around these parts.

16. Yeah That's it!
Thanks. For some strange reason I was thinking William Holden. Must be a case of elderly guy who can't remember stuff as well as he used to. Or middle aged guy in a rage about the way my country is being screwed.

7. Sad and mad
As I'm mashing potatoes tonight I couldn't stop crying.
These soldiers are on their way to Iraq and we can't stop it.

12. Impossible to describe how angry I am.
It is not that words fail me, but that too many of them are unusable in PNAC Amerika.

Did I say Impossible? I am sorry, I meant to say imprudent.

14. Neither at the moment, but when he goes on the TV and states his
escalation to the public I will be furious. It won't be limited to him, but to all of those in the WHIG, the OSP, PNAC, EVERYONE who helped to lie and deceive to kick this disaster off, including the stupid voters who didn't want to hear facts and voted the chimpy mofo into office in '04.

After the initial fury, I'll bounce between mad and sad as I have since Shock and Disgust.

15. Neither, really.
Not happy. Not sad. Not angry. Not really anything related to politics or Iraq. I'm a bit happy about the minimum wage increase passing the House, but we knew it would. It's just too bad that this administration is more fixated on winning the political war than securing peace for Iraq.

18. I'm not watching the "speech".
I can't and remain calm and with sane mannerisms and without depression. I always read them later. It takes a certain mental preparation for me to do so. That should give you an indication of where I'm at. I'm tired of waiting for a better time for my country.

19. I hear you!
I'm tired of waiting for a better time for my country.

I have roughly 5 minutes to decided if I can stomach watching the lying bastard or try to keep up with it here!
