Trump calls Barbara Walters a puppet after she called him a sad pathetic man

In a statement, Trump again assailed Walters' truthiness, saying she "lied with Star Jones and now she has chosen to lie again." He also dubbed her a "sad figurehead dominated by a third-rate comedian." Moreover, Trump provided this brief review of this morning's "The View": "It was sad to see Barbara read her statement off a cue card. Rosie just pushed her out like a ("pathetic") puppet."

Trump is right to respond to an outrageous attack by Rosie.
Rosie has a habit of foisting her values on others by making
declarations of untrue facts...as was the case with Kelly Rippa.

Rippa pulled her up short, when Rosie declared Rippa a homophobe
in the Achen debacle without any basis of fact.

I believe the Donald, when he says, BW is lying..of course she is..
She's an appeaser from way back!

I like Rosie. She just doesn't know when to shut up!

I know someone who was at a luncheon somewhere and Walters came in with her entourage and threw a tantrum because she didn't want to wait etc.. :eyes: She was rude to everyone - her sweet persona on TV is crap.

Donald is promoting his show. Rosie is promoting her show. That's why Barbara (everyone missed this prediction) didn't fire Rosie: big ratings.

that she and the Donald start dating...there's that much chemistry between them.

I mean, it's PURE Hollywood...two people who absolutely HATE each other, tear each other to shreds...and it's because of sexual tension.
For whatever reason, they can't admit they're enormously attracted to each other.

The audience sees it, their friends see it, EVERYBODY sees it except the combatants.
Then something happens that throws them together and POOF!!

11. Flipping channels I just saw a man on Fox who says ABC is offering

to buy BW out of the View and it will be Rosie's show. BW can still do her specials and retire. Rosie has the demographics, the right age and with children, that gets the ratings. BW's bad treatment of Star Jones and now her lies about Rosie have paved her way out the door of the View.

(This man is an entertainment reporter but not a familiar face to me.)

We will see.

What I do believe is that possibly Barbara Walters brought Rosie in with the understanding that she take over The View eventually. It would make sense that BW is ready to retire, and maybe only do specials now and then to keep her hand in. Leave it to the media to make it sound like BW was forced out. I don't buy that part.

He expands on what he was saying earlier on Fox, that Rosie will likely leave The View in June and also,

'But ABC might feel differently, given that O'Donnell has made "The View" bigger than ever. It's conceivable that the network brass will prevail — either buying out or retiring Walters and convincing O'Donnell to stay as the show's moderator.' ...

Walter apparently sent O'Donnell a letter over the Christmas holiday that wasn't particularly supportive either. O'Donnell told friends she couldn't believe Walters' take on the situation.

How this leaves "The View" for the rest of the TV season remains a mystery. O'Donnell isn't going to quit, and Walters can't fire her without ABC's approval — and she won't get it. ...
