5. I've found that the letters editors love letters that are under 100 words
especially if they also manage to be funny or witty or playful in some way.

It's a beautiful thing. :evilgrin:

8. Exactly. When I used to write to the SF Chron and the NYT
I'd go back and cut and tinker and cut until that sucker sat at 85 words. The NYTs once used one that was only one seven - word sentence. That was fun. :)
