1. First of all, it's "Boyda".
Secondly, if you expect her to be on the on the liberal side of the Democratic Party, you are going to be disappointed. She was elected by the voters of central/easter Kansas in a traditionally heavy Republican district.

Please, give her some time. It's Day One.

2. From what I've heard, Kansas D's are actually R's
Who switched to D's to challenge the religious whackjobs that have taken over the state.

4. In some cases. They are certainly a more conservative brand of
Democrat than many in these parts would like. But, they are good, reasonable people. They will never be as liberal as we'd like, but I'm sure as hell happy they've realized they don't want to be as kool-aid drinking conservative as the Republican party would like them to be.

5. Yea, I've had lots of Kansas Republicans tell me that
It's certainly a good thing that they're telling the religious right to screw off, but in the end they're still repukes.

Like most repukes she apparently wants more kids to die in Bush's bullshit war.

3. Murtha has made it quite clear he will block funding for the "surge"
So it's a pretty redundant statement
