Yahoo News Captions Obama Photo With Name "Osama"
By Greg Sargent

Oh, man -- first CNN, now Yahoo News. As you know, CNN has apologized to Barack Obama for putting his name on a picture of Osama Bin Laden. Now Yahoo News has committed the opposite blunder: On their photo page, the caption on their photo of Obama reads, "Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida."

Click through on Yahoo's photo of "Osama bin Laden" and you get this:

1. It's all about
"ringing the bell". A common trick seen in all of our Court Rooms.

3. Getting angry will only start a feeding frenzy
but maybe Obama can use humor to set this right. maybe he could make a big production about CNN and now Yahoo desperately looking for him but they have been unsuccessful because they have a picture of some other guy and then give them autograph pictures of himself

8. Hello, I'm Senator Barak Obama. I'd like to make one announcement...
before the show starts, and I picked this venue for it's ratings.

I am not Osama Bin Laden. We both like Whitney Houston, but other than that we're two very different people.

22. Great Idea!!!
Someone needs to contact SNL or the Obama camp now. A skit like that would get replayed all week (if done right).

20. I'm not so sure--I don't watch corp. news, but
it seems to me we should leap on this like our hair's on fire, so to speak, as part of spreading the word about the dangers of the consolidation of media ownership that we've allowed.

I mean, I am still stunned that most Dem pols don't seem to recognize how crucial this issue is; and enlightening more citizens about it can't hurt, either.

4. It should be really easy to keep these two distinguished.
The one that Bush could find if he felt like it is Obama.

9. I've heard the President has been looking for me the past six years...
That's odd, because I wasn't even in the Senate six years ago, but who knows why he wants to see me.

It's odd too because he can't seem to find me, when he could just call my office and make an appointment to see me.

10. Good, but I was thinking more along the lines of
Obama sitting at a desk in an office, when men in either military or SWAT gear burst in, guns raised. Obama throws up his hands, and says "How many times do I have to tell you, it's Obama not Osama." Leader of the team looks at him and says, "I know sir but the president keeps seeing these headlines and other so-called typos, and he keeps sending us out to find you." Obama, "But why?" Leader, "He thinks if the media can't tell you apart, maybe the American people can't either."

14. Oh Jon Stewart is gonna have a field day with this next week!
Apparently, the MSM has lost the knowledgeable audience and they are all fighting over the RW minority crowd who are too ignorant or too hate-filled to care about their follies.

16. Obama is clearly one of the most able statesmen
to surface in years. And he is black. Of course he will be a target.

Call the corporate media on every single bit of bs. Please, just do it.
