to another, with national coverage of every move, has caused me to revolt against any traditional funeral arrangements within my family, if I am asked to give any input. How this custom has managed to survive these many years is a surprise to me. It is utterly absurd that we have yoked ourselves to such a custom, and it is magnified one hundredfold or more, when it is a President or national figure, Princess Diana included.
