with stating these myself is I sort of think at times, if it weren't for "bad" luck, I would have NO luck at all.

I have this hazy sense of karma, but think it only works on those of us who really CARE! So if I go wishing "bad" things on this piece of SHIT, it may be ME that receives negative retribution!

Believe me, I've been waiting for THEIR karma to kick in for far too long!!! Perhaps, rotting in HELL will be THEIR karma!!! I'm well aware of how terrible Saddam was, but he DID GET HIS, and the fact that these people running our country were able to do what they have done to hundreds of thousands of other innocent people remains a mystery to me! I will say though, if I saw them on the side of the road begging for water, unfortunately I would "keep on truckin!" I have given up hoping that they will be made to pay the price for their stupidity any time soon, since it just keeps going on! The absolute arrogance really galls me, most of the time!

What a tragic way to start the New Year--3,000 troops dead. 3,000 precious lives, so unnecessarily lost. 3,000 families left to mourn their children, their siblings, their spouses, their parents.

It has been said that when George Bush launched this unjust war, he imagined the conflict would last no longer than 10 days, with a maximum of 100 casualties. Now we have been in Iraq longer than the US was involved in World War II, and more Americans have died in Iraq than on American soil during the attacks of 9/11. Of course the Iraqi casualties, all too often overlooked, continue to be even more staggering.

As the execution of Saddam Hussein fills the news, we are reminded that fighting violence with violence, that this cycle of revenge, will only lead to more of our soldiers dying. And we're worried that with the media focusing on Saddam's death, our 3,000th soldier death will be unduly glossed over. Let's not let that happen
