Opinion of Sen. Jeff Bingaman ?
What are people's opinions/personal experiences with Sen. Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico? He's an apparently popular Democrat, just elected to his fifth term in a landslide.

I don't typically here of him, however. What's he like politically? Would he be a viable candidate for Vice President? Or is he unqualified? Overly centrist?
