I saw some posts saying that he wasn't really a great president, and some calling him a war criminal. But I didn't see anyone actually celebrating his death.

I could be wrong, there may have been a few here, I just didn't see any. But those would have been the exception - by and large, most posts I've seen regarding Ford have been quite complimentary. Over on Free Republic, it seems that the overall mood seems to be one of glee.
