..getting a minute by minute account of what is happening with the Saddam hanging? Or do you think he is drinking and getting wasted? How many advisers does he have with him in Crawford in his "non-decisional" meeting? Do you really think he is not monitoring this very closely and that is why he is not going to the Ford funeral gig? Do you think this is not more important to him than a funeral for a former President?

1. I think he's drinking and getting wasted; anticipating the hanging.

Like a little kid before Christmas. He is certainly being updated about Saddam and I'm sure he'll have a live feed when it happens (that's why he's in Crawford). His handlers are busy crafting a speech for him about the new "plan" for Iraq (nothing more than new packaging for "stay the course"), which he will regurgitate to the nation late next week after he recovers.
