TORONTO (CP) - The U.S. game show "Deal or No Deal" is looking for five Canadian beauties who can emote through facial expressions while opening a briefcase.

Global Television says producers will head out across the country in the first two weeks of January to search for briefcase models for five Canadian "Deal or No Deal" episodes set to air next spring. Open auditions will be held in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal, says Global.



Global says the Canadian episodes will have only 21 U.S. briefcase models to make room for the five Canadian ones.



Does Global think that there aren't 26 attractive women in all of Canada? There's no reason to not have all of the briefcase ladies be Canadians, if you ask me.

1. Due to impossible expectations concerning appearances

All the models have been reconstructed to meet unreasonable standards. Canadian mental health is substantially higher including most women having a higher self image. Thus there is a lack of Canadian women who obsess about their apeparance so much that they have their body and face reconstructed to the standard expected by Deal or no Deal. :evilgrin:

2. Why can't they have 26 Canadian women?

I've been to Canada many times and trust me, there are many beautiful women up there. What...the producers of the show think Canadian audiences must have a dominate American presence? Even on a stupid game show? God, what an idiotic, patronizing load of crap.

Just asking out of curiousity. I personally think watching the show causes mental impairment.
