Well, I guess anonymity makes it hard
to slobber all over myself
thanking them for being
who they are
and what they have meant to me

ON Edit: But Dammit Willie, You should have taken that cassette I tried to hand you
back in Tulsa in the early "80's
I might have had more now to contribute to the cause.

Oh Well, I love you anyway

3. No they arent all DU"ers
They are against the war and have done concerts and given money to GSFFP to help fund the rallies and the protests to end the war

5. It is said by some that prayers of gratitude are the most powerful.
Edited on Sat Dec-23-06 07:40 PM by stellanoir
Based on that supposition, with which I most whole heartedly agree, I deeply thank az chela for being so indomitably and refreshingly fiesty whilst still being appreciative and thankful for the noble efforts of all others, both known and unknown.

May our collective gratefulness generate even more to be grateful for, throughout this holiday season and for the year and many years to come.

It's funny. I was just listening to John Mayer's "Waitin' on the World to Change" and I was thinking "woh I should write an open letter to both him and his generation sayin' waitin' ain't gonna make it happen." I may or may not do so.

Still in these very different times, I feel we're all challenged to be creative and proactive in a vast myriad of ways to perform non violent activism in non traditional and less linear ways.

Heck, yesterday was the Global Orgasm for Peace day and today I hear that Olmert is going to meet with Abass (or however you spell their names.) FINALLY Sheesh. You know, the leaders of Israel and Palestine.

Wows. . .dialogue. . .whattaconcept.

Wouldathunkit?

Some say "as goes Jerusalem, so goes the world."

Why they didn't make that city an international zone for a couple decades, protected by the UN or even the frigging genetically peaceful (though sorta Catholic) Swiss Guards shortly after 9/11, I'll never understand. A couple decades would have enabled the hot heads to chill for the most part. But NOOOOO.

Thanks for the thanks to encourage more to be thankful.

4th Rec.

&
