2. Tim and Newt are two of a kind.
I believe Timmy is a neocon tool.

3. Seems logical to me if you think about it this way.
Meet the (Republican) Press

Republican guests - 3
All other political guests - 0

4. I know some here dismiss his chances - but Newt scares me more than any of 'em
He could talk the proverbial buzzard of a meat wagon and if McCain should falter he would make the rest of the GOP field look like the simpletons they are. The man is dangerous.

6. I agree.
That man could not only be, to the right-wingers, a symbol of "core family values", but also hypnotize them into believing the "his vision for the future" is correct and as compelling as Ronnie's "Morning in America".

He could very easily become a "Buzz Windrip" ("It Can't Happen Here")

10. I noticed that he started out more or less blaming the
republicans for the current situation in Iraq and by the time he got to the end, it was clearly going to be the democrat's fault if we left/"lost".

7. He's not an idiot.
He's a nutcase. The nasty little piece of work has been hinting that Senators who travel to countries like Syria and meet with reps of their governments should be prosecuted under the Logan Act.

8. He's trying to sell up the situation the British had in Basra
You know, what's now a Taliban-esque environment.
